about me.

All good creative starts with an idea. No matter the quality of the design or type of medium, if there is no idea, there is no meaning. I appreciate work demonstrating an integrated and thoughtful process. I'm passionate about the evolution of the digital realm and spend a lot of my time learning about the changing landscape. I approach design with great optimism and lots of caffeine. Those respectfully old people might consider me a naive idealist, but I wear that with pride.

Moleskine
iPad application design concept

Moleskine is a brand that I really love. I use multiple journals every day. I came across the new recipe journal which is part of their Passions collection and there were a few things that I thought would work much better as an app.

ThedaCare
web/social campaign design

Making excuses for not getting a colonoscopy is practically an art form. This site encourages avoidance while cleverly, and subversively, pushing for the procedure. It's creepy having a polyp follow you on Twitter. Even creepier to be his friend on Facebook. But even a weirdo who can increase colonoscopy participation is good.
